Filling an Easter basket for an infant can be challenging. They don’t need or want anything but you want them to have something. This time around our baby will be right around 5 months but his big sister will be expecting the Bunny to leave her brother a basket filled just like hers.
For baby baskets I try to focus on practicality and things that the baby might need in a few months. The list here shares lots of ideas for items that baby needs for less than $5 and the best thing is that they can all be purchased on your Amazon Prime account! We all know that it can be impossible to get out of the house with a baby and no sleep so the Easter Bunny can deliver it straight to your door!
If you don’t have a Prime account yet, you can try it free for 30 days here! Prime was a lifesaver for me less than 5 years ago when I was pregnant with my first baby. It was getting harder and harder to lug paper towels, groceries and my BIG belly around. I still have Prime deliver lots of our essentials and it really helps with another new baby in the house to not have to drag everyone out to the store! You can read the top 5 reasons that I subscribe to Amazon Prime here.

What Was In My 5 Month Old’s Easter Basket?
If you read all those $5 or under infant Easter basket fillers and still don’t know what to do, maybe this will help! Sometimes I like to just have an exact guide to follow so that I don’t have to really think about it.
If that sounds like your mama brain right now, here is exactly what was in my 5 month old’s basket.
Baby Mum-Mums – Both of my kids loved these! I always keep them in my purse for restaurant outings. Baby can hold these and self feed.
Tommee Tippee Roll UP Bibs – These are the best for babies that are starting solid foods because they wipe off so easily. If your baby is bottle feeding, these Tommee Tippee Padded collar bibs are a must. They prevent the drips of milk going down their neck and getting super gross.
Carter’s Dinosaur Onesie
A couple of Baby Food Pouches – Because he was about to start trying new foods.
For right around $20, the baby’s Easter basket was filled with age appropriate treats and essentials.
